Terms Of Use

The mission of the Community Benefit Network (CBN) is to improve health & well-being in the community through offering Community Benefit Programs (CBPs).

(1) You are court-ordered through an approved court referral agency (aka “Volunteer Center”) to complete one of our programs as part of a court sentence or condition of probation. Alternatively, you have been granted prior permission to enroll & participant by submitting a request at the email listed below.

(2) You agree to complete online courses in a timely manner as stated within the course description (usually within 1 week of enrollment). You agree to take no longer than 30-days from your date of enrollment to complete any course. You will be emailed a Weekly Reminder of your progress.

(3) You agree that after 30 days from your enrollment date, access to any course will expire. A fee will be required to "re-enroll" you into the course & reestablish access so that you may complete any required coursework.

(5) You agree to be available and responsive to email and/or phone and/or text correspondence about your progress in the course and related court matters. You agree it is your responsibility to ensure email from us goes to your inbox, and not your junk email folder. You agree to update your contact information in your student account so that it is current and accurate.

Payments, Fulfillment and Refunds

Payments

You agree to pay the fees for courses that you purchase, and you authorize us to charge your debit or credit card or process other means of payment for those fees. We (CBN) work with third party payment processing partners to offer you the most convenient payment methods in your country and to keep your payment information secure. When you make a purchase, you agree not to use an invalid or unauthorized payment method. If your payment method fails and you still get access to the online course you are enrolling in, you agree to pay us the corresponding fees within thirty (30) days of notification from us. We reserve the right to disable access to any course for which we have not received adequate payment.

Fulfillment

Our courses and course landing sites are hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allow us to provide our services to you.

Our courses are made available for purchase to you only if and after you have agreed to our “Privacy Policy” and “Terms of Use”. After payment has been verified through a 3rd party payment processor, enrollment and access to our courses are immediate. In addition, an email with a receipt number, course log-in link, and support link are sent to the email you provided upon enrollment.

Refunds

If the course you purchased is not what you were expecting, you can request, within 7 days of your purchase of the course, that we (CBN) apply a refund to your account. We reserve the right to apply your refund as a refund credit or a refund to your original payment method, at our discretion, depending on capabilities of our payment processing partners, the platform from which you purchased your course, and other factors. No refund is due to you if you request it after the 7-day guarantee time limit has passed. We (CBN) also reserve the right to refund students beyond the 7-day limit in cases of suspected or confirmed account fraud.

To request a refund, access the support link made available within the learning platform you purchased the course. Alternatively, contact us at the email listed below.

At our discretion, if we believe you are abusing our refund policy, such as if you’ve consumed a significant portion of a course that you want to refund or if you’ve previously refunded a course, we reserve the right to deny your refund, ban your account, and/or restrict all future use of the Services. If we ban your account or disable your access to a course due to your violation of these terms or abuse, you will not be eligible to receive a refund.
